Requirements
Available to work 15 to 20+ hours per week. (12 hours minimum)
Undergraduates only
Excellent computing skills; knowledge of both Windows AND Macintosh computers
Customer service experience and/or teaching experience helpful
Strong desire to help others and learn new technology
Work study accepted!
Experience
Knowledge of several of the following Mac and PC software required:
Operating Systems: Windows XP/Vista, Mac OSX
Microsoft Office 2003/2007 (PC) and Office 2004/2008 (Mac)
Telnet, FTP, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari etc.
Scanner Programs—Photoshop, Omnipage, etc.
Most Macromedia and Adobe Products
ADA Software—JAWS, ZoomTextMultimedia Software - Video Editing - Final Cut , iMovie, Premiere, etc.
AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max (or Vis), SPSS, SAS, Quark XPress, Etc.
Pay
Lab Consultant (LC) starting = $8.00/hour
Facilities/Supply Assistant (FA/SA) starting = $8.50/hour
Team Leader (FS) starting = $9.00/hour
